Jesse Tree Ornaments to Print

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:” — Isaiah 11:1 · KJV

Twenty-five round ornaments, one for each evening of the Jesse Tree on Advent at Home, in the same order: from Creation to the manger. Each ornament carries its symbol, the day number, the reading, and a short verse from the King James Bible to read aloud as you hang it. Print, cut, punch, hang — free, with no sign-up and no email.

The printable sheets

The illustrated sheets are being prepared. The 25 readings and verses are below.

How to make them

  1. Print the sheets at actual size (no “fit to page”), on card stock if you can.
  2. An adult cuts along the dotted circle; older children can help with the colouring version.
  3. Punch the small circle at the top and thread a ribbon or string.
  4. Each evening, read the passage together and hang that day’s ornament on a branch or a paper tree.

Starting late is fine: Advent 2026 has 26 days, so you can still reach the manger on Christmas Day.
