How the plan works

The plan gives you one theme per week and a small daily reading. Six evenings a week, one chapter or short passage. Sunday is rest. In one year the household will have walked through Genesis, Exodus, key psalms, the four Gospels, Acts, the great chapters of the epistles, and Revelation. This is not the whole Bible — it is a serious first pass, and enough for a lifetime of return.

Weeks 1–4 · Beginnings

Week 1 — Genesis 1–3 (Creation & Fall) + Psalm 8.
Week 2 — Genesis 6–9 (Noah) + Psalm 33.
Week 3 — Genesis 12; 15; 17; 22 (Abraham) + Psalm 23.
Week 4 — Genesis 28; 32; 37; 45; 50 (Jacob & Joseph) + Psalm 27.

Weeks 5–8 · Exodus

Week 5 — Exodus 1–4 (Moses called).
Week 6 — Exodus 12; 14 (Passover, Red Sea).

Week 9 — 1 Samuel 3; 16; 17 (Samuel, David chosen, Goliath).
Week 10 — 2 Samuel 7 + Psalms 51 and 32 (David).
