Bible Reading Plans

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” — Psalm 119:105 · KJV

A reading plan for every household

Five Bible reading plans for the Christian family — shortest to longest, gentlest to most sustained. Any one of them can carry a household from one Sunday to the next. Every reading is a King James chapter or a small block of verses. No commentary. The Word does the work.

Start where your household is. Read aloud when you can. Keep the Bible open at the same page all week if that helps.

7-Day Gospel Reading Plan

Seven short KJV passages for a household's first week in the Word together. A good starting point.

30-Day Plan · John and Acts

The Gospel of John (21 days, one chapter each) and Acts 1–9 (9 days). One chapter, one reflection, one prayer prompt per day.

All Four Gospels in 40 Days

Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in forty days. A printable grid so the household can track the days together.

Psalms in 30 Days

Five psalms a day, morning or evening, for thirty days. All 150 psalms, in a printable table.

Beginner's Bible Tour · 21 Days

Twenty-one passages introducing the whole story of Scripture — for a person new to the Bible, or for a household starting again.
